Daily Bible Verse

Since an overseer is entrusted with God's work, he must be blameless -- not overbearing, not quick-tempered, not given to drunkenness, not violent, not pursuing dishonest gain. Rather he must be hospitable, one who loves what is good, who is self-controlled, upright, holy and disciplined. He must hold firmly to the trustworthy message as it has been taught, so that he can encourage others by sound doctrine and refute those who oppose it.

Tutoring Program

Tutoring Program for Grades 2nd through 12th. There will be a small dinner before Tutoring begins and all are welcome. We are always looking for more Tutors. Transportation is available just call the church office.

Mens Breakfast

Join the United Methodist Men of Wesley for a devotional breakfast on the first Saturday of every month.

Wesley Community Service

WCS provides support to people in need in the congregation and surrounding neighborhood. Donations to WCS go toward emergency assistance, the food pantry and bucket project(cleaning supplies to newly housed homeless families), and Christmas assistance. Twice a year WCS sponsors homeless guests from Interfaith Hospitality Network for a week, providing sleeping arrangements, dinners, packed lunches and evening activities for children. WCS manages the Traumatized Children's fund, a jobs program, (cont.)

Education

Proverbs 22:6 Train a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not turn from it. The Education Committee is responsible for teaching the children of our church about The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. This is done through a variety of ways. The backbone of education is weekly Sunday School. We also have a weekly lesson in our Sun-Shine service. This is where children ages 4 years to 1st grade go during worship service. Then on an annual basis we hold a week long Vacation Bible (cont.)
